The Village Centre, Kilmacolm, was a local Community Education Centre founded c. 1985. The aims and objectives of the Centre was to promote the benefit of the inhabitants o Kilmacolm without distinction of age, sex, colour, race, nationality, political, religion etc by associating the local authorities, voluntary organsations and local community in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of health, social welfare, for recreation and for leisure-time occupation in accordance with policy of Strathclyde Regional Council.
It was a non-party, non-sectarian centre.
Kilmacolm Village Centre
