Signed at the lower right 'WN' The subject is defence cuts. The scene shows the inside of a museum with a family group looking at a showcase containing uniforms of the army and navy with case labelled 'Early XXth Century Old Time Fighting Men'. Intended for publication as a cartoon for The Bulletin and Scots Pictorial newspaper which was published in Glasgow between 1913 and 1960. |
