Description |
An eighteenth century Japanese swordguard or tsuba. The tsuba has apertures for the kogai and the kozuka. The tsuba is in circular form and carries the same design on both faces. The design being a chiselled and open work maple leaves with gold decoration. Inscription on one face. Signed: Masachika. |
