Ancient Egyptian beads consisting of nine round cornelian beads with a larger rhomboid shaped bead in the centre. Dating from the Roman Period 30 BC - 395 AD. Excavated at el Hibeh between 1902-1903 by Bernhard Pyne Grenfell (1869-1926) and Arthur Surridge Hunt (1871-1934) for the Egypt Exploration Fund, London. |
